USA Parking System was founded by Bill Bodenhamer in 1980. USA Parking, “The Hospitality Parking Company” has taken the parking industry to a new level of aggressive hospitality service and operational excellence.
Today, USA Parking operates in five states and Puerto Rico. We now manage and operate over 100 parking facilities with 66,000 parking spaces producing revenue in excess of $130,000,000 per year. We attribute the Company’s success to our commitment to quality service and to our full time training facility managed by USA Parking University. We have built a corporate management team of 14 professionals with a total of 161 years of USA Experience and 214 years of Parking Management Experience which is second to none in the country.

From 1976 until 1991, Mr. Bodenhamer held executive positions with such organizations as Gray Line and B&L Services of Fort Lauderdale. He was responsible for the operation of over 1,500 motor coaches, vans, limousines and taxi cabs throughout South Florida, Orlando, Tampa and Atlanta. During his 15 years, transportation revenue grew from $4 million to $68 million per year.

In 1990, Mr. Bodenhamer developed, owned and operated a 215 room Comfort Suites Hotel in Orlando. This property received the Choice Hotel Gold Award 4 consecutive years and was selected as one of four AAA Diamond Destinations in Orlando. After increasing the occupancy level to 88.5%, the Comfort Suites was acquired by Winston Hotels in May of 1997.

Mr. Bodenhamer believes strongly in his civic responsibilities and demonstrates such by serving on numerous committees and boards in various roles. These include the American Automobile Association Chairman for the Florida Advisory Board from 1994-1997, AAA South Board of Directors from 1998-2007, Executive Committee 2005-2007, Chairman of the Marketing and Advertising Committee from 1991-1997 and a member of the Tourist Development Council for 10 years. Lauderdale landscape into the world-class destination it is today.

While attending East Carolina University in Greenville North Carolina from 1970-1974, Mr. Bodenhamer was elected Student Body President and responsible for the administration of a half million dollar student budget. His commitment to East Carolina University has continued through the years and was reaffirmed in early 1998 with a $100,000 dollar contribution to start the USA Parking Systems Scholarship Endowment Fund for students majoring in Hospitality Management.

On October 1, 2001, USA Parking System, Inc., became a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Parking Corporation. USA Parking will be operated independently of Central Parking and will further develop its culture of hospitality and continue to operate as “The Hospitality Parking Company.” USA Parking now has the new financial backing resources and technical support to develop the company into a truly national parking brand.

“Our Mission is to continue providing the aggressive hospitality service that our customers and clients have come to expect and deserve from us. This is what makes us the “Best of the Best” in the industry!”
